Speak Up Speak Out (SUSO) is an advocacy program designed to promote involvement by people with epilepsy, their families and friends in government and legislative activities. People are encouraged to write their state and congressional elected officials in matters pertaining to epilepsy. This may include medication and reimbursement legislation, rights to people with epilepsy, employment related laws, and so on.
The Epilepsy Foundation Oregon will contact registered members when action is needed, however it is recommended that you Speak Up and Speak Out to your elected representatives whenever you can about epilepsy.
